Low Usage DII

I'm thinking of picking up an '04 DII by the end of the summer. The thing is I will be be walking to work so it would sit a lot. I would make an effort to drive it at least once a week, but should I be concerned about it sitting then making an occasional 4-5 hour road trip?

i would be more concerned with your driveway, the stains will be horrible.

Conventional wisdom or superstition, as the case may be, holds that Rovers do not like to sit for extended periods.

If you go this route, pay close attention to the time intervals on fluid changes.

The trucks do best with hard use and meticulous maintenance.

I worked on a 01 D2 that had 7k miles on it. had the services done on it every 6 mos. didnt seem to have any issues.

I would use a fuel sabilizer if you really don't drive it much.
