whats wrong with your truck? lr columbia is owned by the same guy that owns greenville and ashville, nc. i've always been terribly unimpressed with greenville. in general the dealer is a bad place to go for non-warranty work. the parts alone are so overpriced.

Being a 17 year L/R dealership veteran, Baldeagle is right. Why go if you are going to do a non warranty repair. A good L/R tech doesn't grow on trees....thus the bad experiences at a dealership alot of times.

well apparently no idependent shop around here knows how to work on rovers cuz i just spent $300 plus on repairs (last week) to get all my lights turned off on my dash aka check engine, abs, tc, and hdc. well they turned off check engine and said they repaired that then they said the abs modulator was the problem so i bought one from a seperate place (new one) and they put that in and none of those 3 lights turned off. However they told me that the lights would turn off in 400 miles after the car ran test on itself...whatever. those lights are still on. and now a wk after the repairs the check engine light has come back on..so pretty pissed off and just want this piece fixed. ya know what im saying?

someone here last week said the dealer told them the exact same thing about the lights turning off in a few hundred miles. its up to you, you're gonna spend a shitload more at the dealer and in time/gas of driving to columbia, for likely shitty service anyway. i'd try to find another independent shop, or take it back and make them fix it again. that $300 you spent is nothing when you take it somewhere, and its gonna be $900 at the dealer.

stupidest thing the greenville dealer told me........."your check engine light is on because the oil is dirty."
