Installed my Land Rover block heater last weekend. Worked great with the cold weather we have had the last couple of days here in MN.

It took a little bit of work to install as I needed to purchase a 17MM allen socket to pull the plug from the block. I am not sure what the easiest way to install one of these is but I did it through the drivers front fender. Pain in the rear getting hand anywhere close to the engine after pulling the heat shields, but it was worth it.

The dealership in Minneapolis happened to have the block heater in stock. The sold it to me at a discount as they did not know where to locate the cord since Land Rover does not have one listed. I was able to find a cord that fits by looking through Napa's parts catalogs, but ended purchasing the power cord from Oreilly's since the guy at Napa ordered the wrong part in. The cord was available the next day and cost $10.
