LR3 cool box

After years of waiting, I finally took the plunge and got a 2006 LR3 HSE in gray (75K miles) in great condition. I tried using the cool box in my LR3. I could not tell whether or not it's working since I have not driven it long enough distance (my guess is I would need to run/drive the car long enough to allow the cool box to get cold). When I switch it on, the light did not come on.

Does the cool box light come on when it's switched on? if so, what color is the light?
Does anyone know how long it normally takes before the cool box gets noticeable cold?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, light is blue and the light comes on immediately... and as trevor said, it just gets cool, not really overly cold... but still does a decent job in keeping drinks/left overs cool. A 4-pack of boddington fits perfectly in there! :)

I presume you're doing this check with the vehicle on, or at least with accessory power on?
Just checking - the coolbox won't operate otherwise.

Status update. I replaced the fuse and voila, it works like a charm.. Thanks to everyone for their replies.

P.s. the fuse for the coolbox (fuse no. 59) located underneath the glove box is very difficult to access. There are thick cables and 2 big relays in the way. I was only able to access the coolbox fuse using a long nose (slim) pliers.
