LR3 Heated Seats

I am trading my 2004 D2 for an LR3 on Wednesday. Am curious if anyone without the cold climate package has checked to see if the LR3 is prewired like leather D2's, for seat heaters? Is it just a matter of popping in the switches? I just don't see why one has to spend $1000 to get heated seats on a $45K+ vehicle. Also does anyone have a list of test book options that can be changed on this truck? Thanks.

Because it's better than making people who will never use heated seats pay $1000 for them.
You get a lot with the package, though. 2-temperature heated seats in all 4 outboard positions, that heat both your back and bum, heated windshield, and heated washer jets. I don't know if they are wired or not.
Heated seats aren't standard on BMWs either.

more importantly- what are they giving you for the 04 in trade? I'd love to get another one cheap...

$1K for the package is actually cheap if you priced out what it would take to install four aftermarket heated seat kits in it- and the heated windshield is worth it alone!
