Hi guys. Need some urgent help please.
2005 lr3 4.4 V8. This morning I cranked her up and started heading to work. I didnt even get out of the neighborhood before I got "reduced engine performance " notification, then the CEl started flashing. I immediately pulled over and scanned.
Misfire on 6 and 7
Cleared them and turned around heard back home. They came back almost immediately. I looked around and heard a hissing sound from the back of the engine around Cyl 7. Put the smoke machine on it and got two big leaks. One from cyl7 and one around cyl2. So I pulled the fuel rail and found two broken o rings. 2 and 7. Replaced them and no more hissing, but the misfires are still there. So I tried swapping coils with other cylinders. The Misfire stayed on 6 and 7. I have new injectors on the way, but what else should I be looking for at this point? I thought about spark plugs, but how would 2 go bad all of a sudden? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! We have a trip planned this weekend and I'm running out of time get it fixed
