LR3 tent on craigslist

neat but rei, and others, have similar, probably better made, certainly better warrantied tents, for the same $ or less, actually "new". I checked one out at the dealer and it looked less than stellar as far as tent design, materials, and construction go. Probably fine for blocking some wind at the beach or general camping protection but it's no ARB or Hannibal tent or awning quality.

Kelty makes a "Car Port" which is 1/3 the price and looks great.

I have owned the SportZ tents which will fit on a liftback model. I saw the LR3 at the dealership and it is very poor quality. The cuff for the car is thin nylon, and it did not seem to offer much water protection. The SportZ tents are pretty good, the cuff is strong vinyl, and they hold up well in weather.
