Remember the arguments they were having when GPS was first being born? Hence the "timing" corrections that were implemented. The satellites' clocks were not running the same as the clocks on earth (this is not the same as the latency involved with signal delay, ie. roughly the 44K mile round trip).
The was one camp who argued against the Einstein prediction. Needless to say, they were wrong. It is a difficult concept to comprehend.

Maybe heading back on topic (at least relating to recent scientific findings), though I would like to see the pics of 'Jaws's interior. This perhaps is the announcement of the century so far in the world of semi-conductor tech: Intel's High K/Metal Gate at the 45nm node
