LT77 and LT230 forsale

I have a defender Lt77 and LT230 tranny and T case out of a defender 90 for sale.

The tranny has a short bellhousing.

There are the usual weeping seals but very dry .The milage is @ 50 to 60 k on them both.

Price includes the shiftr linkage for the T case.

The items are located on the east coast of Canada.

the asking price is $1500.00 for both.

Any idea what year they are out of and what engine ? The tranny if early (80's) has a different 5th gear ratio and notchier shifting than the later 90's versions. Also that Lt230 came in three different gear ratio's and may be the 1.6 box that is only good with the 2.25 and 2.5 petrol and early diesels. If its an early 90's setup out of a 200 tdi you may have the desirable 1.4 tcase and 4cyl Lt77s tranny.

The truck that the tranny came out of was a 1992 and the engine was a 200 Tdi.I can run the numbers tomorrow and let you know exactly what the ratios are for the tranny and the T case.

Ok went out to the shop tonight and here is info you requested .The Transfer case is a 1.222 28D
the transmission is a late LT77 suffex G

I hope this is enough info?
