Lug Nut Question #597

Does anyone know where I can buy the old style black lug nuts for RRC alloys? I think the p/n was NRC7415.

rovers north, atlantic british, british pacific, rover renovations, discount british parts, any dealer, some dismantlers, guys here like will tillery, paul grant, gampas retired rovers, etc, etc... the list is almost infinite, including ebay.

Worldpac carries them, but they're gold cad coated, not black. My cost is $11.64, take it for what it's worth.

Carlos, even I could have pulled that one out of my ass. I want black one piece old style non-capped for alloys. I may have the p/n wrong. I'll keep searching.

I have never seen them in black, the ones I have are plated or more likley painted silver.

I had some years ago from my classic days that were black but I was the second owner of that vehicle so they could have been painted. If anyone is interested, I just placed an order with Gold Coast Rovers (aka XKs Unlimited) for their last (22) of the NRC7415 for $3.80 each. They are unfinished (maybe plated) steel sourced from Allmakes, which is who Land Rover got them from.

I just went down the list of suppliers and found prices all the way up to $19.00 each. Kind of rediculous.

Carlos, like I said, I already checked with RN. They now substitute the newer capped version.

Man, I must have 100 or more of those steel lugs lying around here. For the longeest time I couldn't give them away!
