oem wrench sux

my lug nut wrench started to bend on me, I think the best bet for anyone it to buy a nice 1/2" drive long breaker bar and socket [6 point] just for the lug nuts, when techs put the nuts on with an air drive it's really hard to break them with the small bar provided by LR....... just my thoughts -Andy :D

I was trying to take off my rear passenger wheel to replace the fuel filter but couldn't budge the lugs with that wrench provided. I even took the steel bar from my Yakima roof rack and put it around the wrench for additional leverage, I bent the wrench and the lug still didn't move. I went and got a big torque wrench/ breaker bar, did the trick.

when putting the lug nuts on, put some anti seize on the treads to help get them off in the future :)

Peter-man99....... don't use a torque wrench as a breaker bar, you will mess up the calibration...... torque wrench for torqing and breaker bar for breaking...... :)
