More goodies. RTE rear upper and lower shock mounts and a-arm extension. Simon got them to me in two days and the build quality is top notch. These are easily the nicest shock mounts I’ve seen.

Decided to go back to a DC rear shaft. So I got an extension from Simon at RTE and a high angle joint from Terrafirma. I’m also trying out one of their adjustable stabilizers.

Well…the damn centers are almost an inch thicker than my old ones. So I had to order longer studs. I had some extra hubs laying around. So I’m cleaning them up and putting longer studs in them.

That sir is an excellent question. Nobody seems to know the answer. It’s a long story. But TR was sold. They claim in the sale that they lost the files for LR wheels. They told me this after 17 weeks of waiting. During that time, a buddy decided to sell his to me. They were supposedly built the same time as my original set (now stolen). So I bailed on TR, and got these. They were on a D90 buggy. I’m now the third owner. It’s annoying, but will be resolved this weekend.

Well…all done, for now. I put some spring wedges on to try and get the springs to sit better. They helped a little. But I think I’ll have to move the stock perch to really get it centered.

When spring wedges just aren’t enough to get the spring to sit vertical…

Also picked up some new shocks and coilovers. I haven’t decided if I’m going to use them. I have to make up my mind before the return policy expires!

nice work

I dont see much gain in coilovers on a rover so I think Id lean towards returning them, unless you just have to have an exact spring rate for what youre doing

Oh I’ve had coilovers for years on the front. No turning back from that decision. I just don’t know if I really needed to order Kings with remotes and adjustable compression

I know it’s a lame update. But it’s something that was annoying me. I’m not using the stick tweeter location in that a-pillar. So Will found me some blanks.

Another random “upgrade”. I removed the roof rails and sealed the mounting holes. No more leaks.
