Those M-16 tires are a fucking joke. I'm pretty sure you have to drive a K-5 with 6" lift with buggy springs, and live in West Virginia to even qualfy to get a set of those bad boys.

Andrew,
What tires are those? Please do not say Firestone.

They look ok other than the bullets on the sidewall!

Horse shit. They look like hell. They look like thornbirds. Only super rednecks buy thornbirds. If you had a mullet, some safety sunglasses, and a S-10 Blazer, these would be the tire for you.

and andrew has a set of Toyo MT's. Good tires, the rubber is a pretty hard compound from what I've heard so they seem to last long

I was suprise how quite they are on the HWY. My BFG MT lasted a long time and worked well but I thought I would try something different. Haven't had the Toyos off-road yet but plan on going out this week.

they're definitly popular with larger trucks where I live. My brother has a set as well as my trainer. They seem to last a long time from what I've heard, and all the people i've talked to have been happy with them.

I've heard they're a pretty heavy tire though.... Do you notice a difference in braking from your old BFG's? assuming they're the same size...

XD they don't feel any different than other tires I've run as far as weight goes. I know they are heavy though. They supposedly have very strong side walls. I have a set of Toyo ATs on our Titan and am very pleased with them.

the toyo mt's are nice tires, they need to be aired down a bit more to get them to flex but thats all relative.

2 guys i wheel with are now running them and both seem to like them

Good to hear. They also came with a great road hazard warranty, free rotations and balancing. They didn't define what a road was so I think I'm OK. That and the manager of the Les Schwab store has always treated me great.

I think it's sweet that I looked at the photos, recognized your truck, then went back to see who posted the photos. Nice look. BTW, my XD is now officially the "3rd Vehicle" and will pretty much be dedicated for off-roading as long as the BMW isn't broke. I think I'll try this for a year, through next summer, then think about selling it if it isn't working out well for us.
