Hey guys, yesterday I did my coils on a 2004 D2 ,had to remove the manifold and every thing attached to it including the throttle body to clean it ,after hooking everything back up ,I get 3 problems my M+S blinking and code P1884 no definition for that and code P0123 throttle position A circuit too high , clear the codes and they come back ,left the negative unhooked overnight and nothing everything comes back , so Im guessing I missed something sense I never had this problems before ,any help is appreciated .

Check the grounds and you may need to replace your battery...it's a voltage issue

May be a ground that I screwed up while taking the manifold apart, the battery is not too old and never had this problem prior, what ground should I be searching for? or location ,thanks

usually associated to corroded or loose battery terminals
also check and clean ground locations as mentioned above
measure voltage 12.3-12.8 off, 13.8+ when running
charge or replace the battery

Low battery voltage can trigger. I had the problem too. The D2 stayed in 3rd gear for two short trips. After the third startup the M+S were gone and the truck shifted fine again.

checked voltage 12.5v engine off and 14.2v engine running ,it starts at high rev 3000rpm and it comes down to normal after a minute, cleaned terminals and grounds, swapped with a new battery nothing M+S still flashing , now this is the weird part I took the truck for a ride and even with M+S flashing it drives and shifts just fine ....so what is it?
Is the ignition coil bracket part of a ground? because I didn't attached it back being a pain in ass I just left it undone .
