Can anyone recommend a shop in Chicago/Metro area to have heads resurfaced and a valve job done? I'm just looking for a reputable place and willing to drive a little if necessary.

Upon the advice of Peter Sherman(who used to be on here) I used Ateco in Waukegan. http://www.atecoengines.com/
They seemed to do a good job but it certainly wasn't cheap. I just did a head gasket with a fellow CLRC member who got all his gaskets, bolts, and remanned heads with a valve job from Will Tillery. Might want to give him a shout and see if he's still doing that.
