Yes, you need to remove the center console then drill out the rivets. Pull all the sound dampening pull off the rubber etc... Then the shifter goes into a box held on with I think 3 or 4 screws pull that off and you should be able to get to the return springs from there. Then just re-adjust so it's centered in the middle and put it back together. (I'm pretty sure you can access it that way but I could be wrong)
