We will be doing the Swap Meet again this year so if you have any interesting rover stuff laying around bring it! If you have any large (or small) parts requests, let us know ahead of time and we can do our best to bring it with us so it does not have to be shipped.

I would have to agree, my first impressions left me praying for days of rain prior to/during the event to make things more interesting. HOWEVER my understanding now is that this video was shot early on the first trail workday, and that there is more to the trails than sidehilling on leaves and crawling a small rock formation over and over. Hopefully they will put up more info as more progress is made on the trails, even just pictures would be nice as video editing is surely time consuming.

from what i hear the cove crew has a blast and its always a good time, just a different crew. MAR has always been a good time as well (this will be my 8th straight visit), again, just a different dynamic there. My group keeps to itself so we end up not hearing about too much of the drama until after the fact but I've always had a blast, just to camp out, drink heavily (off trails off course), meet some new people, hit the swap meets and beat around the trails a bit.
Course, we dont fall in line with those guys who trailer down, have 30grand to blow on a rig and are there to beat the living shit out of it either haha. not that i dont wish that were the case.

Yes, campfires will be allowed. Wood will be provided free of charge. A larger group bonfire will be going on as well. We are updating things pretty often, keep an eye on www.roav.org next week for more news on the event.
