Anyone see the new ROAV MAR news letter where they talk about ROAV "going green"? The article goes on to talk about these great water filters ROAV will have on-site. I wonder if the filters will clean all the grease and oil from your drinking water after idiots like Board of Director Eric May go driving down the river? I wonder if Jack Johnson would be happy about that?

"And the eighteenth letter of the alphabet is 'Rrrr'. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle." I love the Curious George soundtrack.

looks like we are supposed to get around 2 inches of rain by tuesday and possibly rain thursday and friday. The temps are going to hold in the high 60's so it should be a good time.

Currently the river is at 2.5 feet. Caution level is 11 feet and flood is at 20 feet. It is still raining now but the ground is soaking up everything.

I will have a bunch of door gaskets and Justin a bunch of his new Lucky8 Breather line kits in case people get scared of a little water.

Yea Now it will be fun

The way I understand it, in order to make the trail system on the PP property work, they were crossing the by-pass "creek" between the island to avoid traffic jams. Obviously if the water gets too deep, this will not happen. Not sure how many inches of rain it will take to fuck that up, but Paul and John White already sank one truck to the hood in there during the work weekend and the 'water level' was at only 2'.

Our side of the mtn is soaking the water up pretty quick. The ground is like a sponge. But we only got 1.25" of rain and most of that was drizzle.

Setting tents up in the rain sucks.

trail access may be revised due to river conditions, but at the moment we do have access to all of the PP property and the island with the exception of the three trails that connected to the fields near the house. The causeway is open as are both ends of the island. Paul went swimming at the east end becasue he took the deep route across the river there. Goat Hill, etc, are all opn and cleared. The powerline trail was removed when they put a new gas line through the property.
