It was EARLY and I had just stumbled out of the tent, hell I think I still had goo in my eyes. Jenn also gave me that very matter of fact tone and stopped me, that had something to do with it.

Mrs.Joel could have taken him. I was there a few minutes later and she was fired up ! Issue was over 6 wolf rims for $100 @ the swap meet tent. Killer deal I saw the night before, after hours, and I walked up to take advantage of it the next morning and heard what had just happened. The offender had indicated he "was interested" the evening before but this was a strictly cash and carry scenario and she had told him to leave a deposit or pay for them. Someone else ponied up and he got ignorant with Mrs. Joel yelling repeatedly that she "needed to make it right". Hopefully the Mercer's will return and manage the swap meet area again.

Probably more rocks than @ Pearls Pond. Pearls Pond does not have much in the way of rocks. There were some rocks big enough to damage a stock LR3. ( I know that ain't saying much) There were a few interesting side slopes that would have been pretty dicey if the rain had kept up. There were also two trails that were on the map but not clearly marked. We found those (3 and 5) and ran them Saturday just before dinner, and it was clear that less than a handful of trucks had been on them. Trail five was somewhat interesting though a bit short. So for all the griping, there were at least two trails that hardly anyone did. And there was a fair amount of body damage on the other trails judging by all the taped up windows and gouges in the trees. So what was there, was pretty good. There just was not enough of it.
How come everyone got angry with me when I said the trails systems were going to suck, yet now that MAR has come and gone everyone else says the trails system sucked?
They did suck. And if not for what little time we had at Pearls Pond, I'd say that the entirety of the event sucked.
I spent $70 on raffle tickets and didn't win shit. I know that's my fault but, there weren't things to win like in the past. They kept trying to give away F-150 Bed liner mats to butcher for the back of your truck. WTF? Whenever I spend money on raffle tickets like that, Im usually walking away with googobs of shit in my hands.
All in All, the best part of the weekend was seeing and hanging out with old friends. The event sucked, not the people.
