How do you match connectors to replace them and where do you buy them?

In particular I need to replace the coil pack connector. It's a 6 pin, 5 used. Would you just use some other type?

yeah suppose I could butt connect a used pig tail, or try to dissect the pins from a used one and find new pins that match.

Was hoping someone knew where to get these new though.

See what brand is molded into the connector, look at that company's product line an narrow it down to the right connector. That's what I've done in the past.

it is going to be PITA to get the proper connectors from the vendor. Best way is to cut and solder in a pigtail from one of the used parts slangers.

I believe that it's an AMP Econoseal III 6-way female connector.

Available from Autosparks in the UK (as a male/female pair) -
