well they were that price a long time ago & at that time it wasn't cheap. i'm not sure what year this add is from but they sure don't build guns like that anymore

Those are Mausers and very accurate. I have a 1906 6.5 x 55 swede. I have also owned the 8mm. They are cheap and accurate. The ammo is also reasonable for the 8mm. Not so reasonable for the 6.5. I paid $125.00 for the 8mm 10 years ago. I think i paid $140.00 for the 6.5 about 5 years ago. Now that the cheap sks supply is gone the old mausers are starting to look pretty good again.

that add is pre-WWII & the top two rifles are original mauser sporing rifles produced at mauser-werke in oberndorf germany, not cobbled together sporters like you see today. the bottom rifle was probably assembled on export receivers by stoger or another importer.

Funny you mention Stoeger. I have their 20ga double coach gun. Is it the same company? I believe that Stoeger is a sister company with Benelli but im not sure. At any rate the 20 coach is the best jump gun for rabbit and grouse that ive used.
