Hey All,
I've been running a Mean Green Starter in my Series for 5+ years, and recently, after long road trips, it has a tendency not to start after stopping at a rest stop or to refuel. I have to tap it with a large screwdriver to get it to do its thing. A friend has suggested that it probably needs to have the grease inside of it replaced because it gets kinda gummed up and stiff with age. Has anyone ever opened up one of these babies for repair? Is it similar to rebuilding an American or Japanese starter?
Thanks,
Brian...
