Head Gasket job.... I'll get the head gasket kit and the head bolts...
I just dont have the tools and/or knowledge, or the patience to do this...
what is happening and why I believe a head gasket is needed:
1. cylinder 1 spark plug looks as if coolant is on the sparky end...
2. Truck smells like coolant, just smell it standing outside the truck
3. random misfires

might be a shot in the dark here but im trying to find a reputable Mechanic that can do heads, and wont run me thru the mud on a 12 hour job.
Thanks in advance... Wind

Kevin I called pat at the Gas Menagerie, basically he can do the job, and do it right, but i was a little weary when he told me that it will take him about 25 hours to do that job... but Im sure thats just because he's taking his time and not giving me a rush job, affecting the quality of the work. thanks kevin! oh and BTW, have you used him before to do work on your Land Rover?

I had him flare some brake piping when I replaced it all on my rig, thats all. Check with Eric Riston at AB for some names as well.
