Trying to set up a mechanical temp gauge set up. Opting for the hose adapter set up
Any good adapters out there or has anyone else done a set up like this

Haven’t tried the coolant hose adapter yet but was impressed with the quality of the Glowshift oil filter adapter. They’d be on my short list. Let us know what you do!

I don’t remember if I made a thread on here or not, but I used two brass adapters to the glowshift sensor. There’s a plug in the head on the 94/95s.

Amazon has an adapter that I have used for the coolant hose on a D1 made by Glowshift it fits the lower or upper hose https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UO47VO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The inlet tube on the radiator is 35mm. Shouldn’t I buy a 36mm? And not a 38mm

And on another note. I broke the plastic fill plug off my radiator. What’s the best way of any to take out the broken piece.

I used the https://jagsthatrun.com/products/coolant-sight-glass on my '97 and tapped it for a second thermocouple. Working well.

What were the part numbers or dimensions of the brass adapters? Does it leak?

The truck is long gone, but it didn’t leak. I got them from the hardware store, use loctite to seal it.
