Ok I know this has probably been covered numerous times, but I'm using my phone and the search feature isn't working on mobile. I have a 2001 disco 2 with 145k. The air suspension compressor just went today, so it's time for a lift. I know I want t the terrafirma 2", just not sure if I should get medium duty our heavy duty springs. I have sliders, and a safari grad front bumper on the truck now. I do not have a winch installed now, but would like to in the future. I also have a safari gard rear bumper sitting in storage that I'm putting on soon.
The truck is not a daily driver, but is the primary family vehicle. It's used for road trips, camping, and some off roading. It spends about 90% of it's time on pavement so it needs to have good road mannerisms. It's also a backup vehicle if my wife's car needs repair.
Should I get the heavy duty due to the weight I have added? Or will medium duty suffice? Looking for info from people who have either installed about how they ride with what kind of weight. I know it's another suspension question, so let the flaming begin as well
