Anybody got a line on a MB forum that leans heavily toward the DIY mechanic?

I need a new used highway car and am considering an early 90's E class sedan - Little old lady, only on Sundays blah blah blah

I've located a couple of 1990-ish 300Ds. They're advertised as low miles, and relatively cheap. Both are in the sticks and the photos are in front of barns.
Time for a road trip, I guess.

benzworld.org is the BBS I primarily use. DIY content is pretty much dependent on what model year you drive. There doesnt appear to be many DIY content for MYs newer than 2002,

I use benzworld, seems to be the best forum out there for all Mercedes models.
