When it rains, it pours.

I have a persistent code 40 -- misfire left bank. Ignition stuff is pretty new and wires seem tight, also I get an issue where on hot starts it idles like crap until I rev it up.

Ideas on where to start?

Had the same problem here leaking fuel injector with my vehicle. When I held the pedal to the floor it would start easier.

Sounds like my issue. Now to figure out which one is bad.

Here is the price for all of them brand new. I was able to pick mine up new on ebay for about 40$ I just replaced them all since I had the fuel rail off. just look around they are cheaper than the Land Rover bosh set. By the way when I was having this problem I keept having to take my orver back to the shop and they could never figure out which injector was leaking as it was intermitent. It is just easier and cheaper to replace them all and with the price you can get the ford injectors for it worth it.

I only put genuine parts on my trucks but thanks for the link. I have a lot of used injectors here so I should be ok.
