MORE RRC obsolete parts: name badges

Hi all,
To make a long story short, I need to replace both hood and tailgate RRC badges (the ones from 95 MY RRC run out with raised letterings). LR quiote them as no longer available.
It seems that P38 ones and MKIII (or FFRR or L322) will fit, but the ones who look nearly the same are the P38 ones as the 3rd generation are plastic.

Are the P38 name badges "RANGE ROVER" same font and dimensions as the late model RRC ones?

I have to replace mine as my hood has to come out for repainting (paint bubbling and I want to stop it before it's too late). My original ones won't stand removal and refit.

Will they look out of place? If the font and dimensions are the same, is the spacing between letters the same?

The last time I bought some (6 months ago) I got them from Rovers North.

Rovers North has them and more than likely anything else you might want for a RRC.

Whoops. Mine is Epsom. But... if the MK3 fits, the p38 should as well.
Saw Rovers North page, seems they bought all the remaining stock from LR classic parts, as many badges which are unavailable anywhere are stocked by them, but shipping would cost me an arm and a leg, as I am based in Europe

Will givbe a try to the P38 ones, or may go fot the MK3 ones, which would look nice.

lived in Brasil for a few years and had stuff shipped to me.

you might want to e-mail RN and ask.

shipping is less than you think.

Thanks for your reply.
I've found a new replacement, still (sigh) available, part no BTR7033MUL, available from John Craddock at a very goor price (22 GBP + VAT each). Guess will have them next week.
But... my alternator packed up yesterday, so new alt time. It's the compact 300Tdi which can't be rebuilt.

With rovers, some times (almost all) you can't win.
