I had experienced the loose ground cable over the summer, I checked that. Now the new problem is after putting in a new starter, as soon as I connect the ground the car tries to start. (no key in the ignition) what could be wrong now? I mean it is one fricking positive lead and a connecter. any suggestions out there?

some after market starters have two male leads on them. one is always hot because its connected to the battery lead, the other is the ignition to actuator lead. make sure you have it connected to the proper terminal.
