True, the ride with OME HD springs (and I have new OME nitrocharger shocks) is a bit stiff and jarring when it's just you in the empty truck....but when you have a passenger or two plus a few hundred pounds of crap in the back & on the roof the ride is easy like Sunday morning. With softer springs the truck wallows like an old hog when it's loaded up.

I am interested in the results. I have a '97 D1 that is due for shocks (almost 270k on the odo). The ride is getting weird and harsh as the shocks wear. The rears feel OK but the front are due.

1998 stock D1 with Land Rover shocks & springs. When loaded with rooftent & 4 people + gear and diesel cans, I?m used to install Air lifts rear. It feels like no loaded. When unloaded I must take them off because they don?t last with low pressure.
