Long shot but figured with enough folks in the central VA crowd on Dweb I'd ask.

Fiancee's Kawasaki Vulcan decided it didn't want to start anymore the other night (after the long rains a few weeks back) and some quick troubleshooting while I was down this weekend didn't get me far.

I can either trailer it back up to my garage in Northern VA or point her to a local place where she can get it looked at.

Any good options down there? Moto Virginia doesn't have any reviews, Jarman's doesn't seem to deal with Kawasaki.

Hit up Noee; I'm sure he knows a cycle shop in C'ville.
He knows all things mechanical over there.

Moto Virginia is NOT where you want to go!

Jarman's is in C'ville - it's a Yamaha/Kwak dealer.(Mixed-reviews there.) In Orange, VA, about 30min north of C'ville, there is Piedmont Power. In Gordonsville, VA, about 20 min south of C'ville, there's a motorcycle repair shop. It's small and I forget the name but I've heard good things about that guy!

While you are waiting in Gordonsville, you can get some kick ass BBQ right next door.

10 minutes farther than Orange is Village Motorsports, don't know anything about them but they are a Kawi dealer if that's what you are looking for. I'll throw a second out for Piedmont too.

Thanks for the help, I think we'll be looking at Piedmont. Gotta love getting her bike down to school and having it immediately stop working.

Piedmont does Hondas, and tractors. Ever since Haynes sold out the service has gone to crap, and thats if they order the right parts to begin with. Personal opinion and does not reflect the views of the managment or the station....
