what part of central PA? i am in state college. not many rovers around here. well at least not that many that are actively off roading. just myself, my ex and a few other people here and there.
most of the land around here is state land and is for the most part off limits. however hazelton, pa has a place called Paragon Park. a large off roading area that is only about an hour so from state college.
email or call me when you get in town. i have a small shop in town as well. garrett@pmotorsports.com and 814.571.3314.

Where exactly is Paragon? I live in VA, but have to travel up to the Tyrone area about once a month to visit my inlaws. If I could bring my truck and do some wheeling while I was up there, I would be much more excited about the trip!

Yeah I'll be in State College too. I was just there this weekend and noticed not a single RRC or Defender. Saw a Disco or two, but nothing to get excited about. I did see plenty of lifted J**ps, etc.
So Garrett, you have a shop with a lift?

yeh the shop has two bays. one with a standard single post lift and the other with a dual post which is over a pit.
what cha doing in state college?
it's a pretty cool town. right now all the students (about 40-45K of them) are working their way back into town. this has good and bad elements as you can imagine.
there are a few RRC's in town and a good number of D1's and D2's. a few series trucks too.....two 88 IIA's, a few 109's and a 101 FC. i know most of the people that are the true Rover folks in town. pretty sure mine is the only truck that is heavily modified. parked downtown quite a bit. epsom green D1 with ARB, Nato wheels, lifted, rack, yada yada yada.
like i said there is a 4x4 club, but it is made up of mostly PSU students. not my crowd. typically a bunch of jacked up Jeeps that head out to a large mud pit, drink some Bud and act all bad ass. haha. not my idea of fun really.
once you are hear and settled we can met up and i can introduce you to some of the events that i head to with some 'local' folk.
don't mind Rob D. that posted above. his D1 is totally stock and it's white. hehe. he only uses it to run to the local 7-Eleven to pick up Twinkies and moisturizing cream. :)
actually Rob is in Pittsburgh, so you gotta feel bad for him.
