Anybody on here running Goodyear MTR 275/65/18s ? If so, how well are they holding up and how is the ride? I saw this size on tire rack.com. I thought they only made these for 17" and 19" rims.

275×65x18 = 32″ = too big. Biggest you can reasonably fit is 31.5", such as the 285/60/18 size Nitto's or Coopers. Even then most people report light rubbing.

To run this 275/65/18 tire, you will need to electronically reprogram your suspension or monkey with your level sensor rods to effect a permanent lift or else you will get a lot of rubbing. If you have rear AC, I would strongly advise against it because the freon tubes run through the right rear wheelwell and you will rub through them.

Thanks for the info. I do not have rear air, I have not heard of reprograming the suspension height, How is this done? Does this mess up the factory camber?

Thanks

For on-road, you shouldn't need to reprogram/reset the EAS for 32" tyres - I run 31.9" without significant rubbing issues. Off-road they'll rub under articulation - you can shorten the sensor rods by 12mm to negate this. Better still have a second set that you can fit when off-roading, then no camber issues.

Cheers,

not to mention the screwy metal protrusions behind the front wheels that are ground against at 90% turn.

i use the 265/65x18 bfg at ko with barely clearing the above mentioned areas, and scrubbing of course under full art.
