Looking to get another RRC LWB, so I want to sell my 97 D1.

161k miles

I bought this last fall for $2000 and put a lot of money into it. Invested about $4000 in parts and labor. So I'm $6k into this thing. I've put about 3k miles on it. You can find some of my trials and tribulations in the tech section.

The color is avalon blue, which looks more green than blue. More about that in a moment.

So, the bad:

- paint is not great; PO painted the top flat black and it looks terrible
- front seats need recovered, but the truck comes with seat covers
- the door panels have a weird brown top edge from sun damage maybe, but they need to be painted or replaced
- the sunroofs occasionally work
- windshield was hit with a rock and has a crack; its in front of the passenger in the bottom corner but it will replacing
- slight exhaust leak when cold
- needs a radio; I have a couple stock radios and stock amp, but PO replaced with aftermarket, so it needs to be redone if desired

The things I replaced with used parts (from here and eBay and an LKQ truck)
- center console surround
- shift indicator
- A/C switch mechanism (pain in the neck)
- rearview mirror
- passenger side mirror
- LR rubber rear cargo cover
- rear bumper (still have the original)

Interior:
- all the lights in all the switches work
- the cruise does't work, but everything does
- antilock brake light goes off at 5mph as it should
- headliner has been done

Other stuff done to the truck (and this is where the truck regains value after all that):
- head gaskets done by PO
- rebuilt steering box
- new MAF
- new catalytic converters
- new gaskets and lines etc. (see pictures)
- new water pump and radiator serviced
- new tires (General Grabbers)
- new shocks and springs
- new front turn signals

NO COOLANT LEAKS on this truck
NO RUST on this truck

Apparently the PO to the PO was an attorney's kid.

Comes with various other parts I have. Lots of switches and doodads off the LKQ truck. MAF, exterior mirrors, etc. If I could get to it easily, I got it. You will get the original rear bumper, rear light protectors, and Land Rover bull bar. (Those last two need to be refinished which is why I took them off, but they're free to you, so what the heck...)

Comes with one key and one remote.

Will post pictures later tonight.

Last set of pictures.

The quality of the pictures is not great, but the truck wasn't washed or wet or prepared in any way. Honest representation.

Thanks for looking!

You might try selling this on ebay. With the amount of work you've done to it you could probably get more than $2,000. Especially with no rust.

On the other hand, if you had a $3,000 truck with $15,000 worth of off-road upgrades and wanted to sell it for $12,000 and get publicly humiliated then you've come to the right place.
