my motor blew need a used or 4.0

i was driving up to the mountains when boom my rod poked a baseball sized hole in the block, i am looking for any engine that will mate up with a 95 5spd disco1 low miles perferred looking for a reasonable price

alia176 will a 4.6 fit with a 95 d1 meaning trans, drive train ect.. and steve i live in york, PA there is only one way i go about getting parts for my truck, a local junkyard for rovers and suburu and jaguars. its about 45min out of town and they are a very small shop. i would be willing to pay for shipping if that is the question.

Hey There,

I have a motor or two. You probably have a 3.9 engine. If you change sizes of engines you will have to change engine wiring harness and ecu (fuel). I have a 3.5, 3.9, 4.0 ,4.2, and a 4.6 . All with low miles. I am Blue3442 on ebay and Jammer on this site. If I can help let me know. I can probably ship any of the above motors for $150.00 in lower 48USA.. I will contribute to Dweb. I do anyway.

i probably just need the long block due to the fact that about three and a half lobe of my camshaft fell out of the hole in my block along with something that looked like a lifter.

A short block & a set of lifters would probably be enough.
