No, it's not a DiscoII. It was a DiscoII.

I have to second the "why?"

Wunderlich ;)
To each one his own, it is a unique vehicle and I can see that great workmanship and creativity went into it, you can be proud on the end result.

just looked at the interior shots of the OldRangeRoverDiscoII

leather and suede work is pretty sharp looking but the cheap white paint on the plastic bits ruins it

I agree that the craftsmanship appears to be top notch (albeit tasteless) but I still have to ask why the hell you'd destroy a perfectly good D2 to put an old RR body on it? I guess the answer is "because you can".

Thx,

The DiscoII was not really in good condition, was crashed on the right side.
Its not a frame swap!!
Frame, drivetrain,Firewall, dash and groudplate, rearseats are originaly DiscoII.

Why? Hmm sure if I had repair the crashed discoII, I get one of 1000 DiscoII (second-selling price 10.000 Euro) really a famous car, but now I have the one and only RRC-2 door softdash with 4.6 V8 engine. (the only one (car) for the only one( my wife);)

I think its awesome. I especially like the interior. My wife's X5 35d is a similar color with black exterior. I can't see all the pic's but was 4.6 uprated in any way? Do you think the two door RR shell is lighter than the DII shell possibly giving a little more peformance?

Definitely Hybrid. I see pieces of the P38, MkIII and obviously the DDII and RRC. It's like a work of art.
