Is this normal and I'm just not used to vehicle yet ? I'm going to see if it happens going down the road or when I hit a bump.

WARNING: be on the lookout for many many newbie questions from me :D

Yep, this is a very newb question. :) Search for "death wobble" and you'll find a ton of threads telling you all about your swivel pins. Read up, it's important.

Thanks. Any suggestions on a good repair manuel ? I had a Chilton's for one of my Fords that showed in depth repairs and such. Looks like I should find one for my Disco. Going to read more on the "death wobble". Thanks again

The RAVE manual will be extremely helpful in the long run of owning a Disco. I used instructions found on the internet to do my swivel preload, which in a DI is a common cause of the wobble. It's very intimidating when you first start looking at all the little parts in there and all the specific instructions...but it's really not that bad. And once you've done it one time you'll never forget and from there be able to measure and set preload by "feel."

When you say wiggle do you mean sitting still the truck seems to wiggle side to side almost like a big cam in a hot rod. or do you mean it tends to walk all over the road while driving. If it is the first it is something to do with the engine but i have not figured out exactly what. My 03 does it on occassion. it seems to be something with the 4.6 almost like the sensors r overcompensating

When I drive down the road it does a little jig sometimes but I need to pay attention if it happens after a bump or on just driving. Headed out to in-laws a few miles away so I'll see.
