Mysterious Check Engine Light? Maybe not?

Hey All,

Just got my truck back from the dealer on Saturday. They replaced the water pump and Intake Manifold gaskets under warranty.

Drove around a bit after picking it up. Seemed fine. Then started it up later that day and the Check Engine light stays on. Drove it around some more yesterday (light still on) and when I got back home after the Super Bowl, as I'm parking, I hear the Secondary Air kick in for a second or two. I'm thinking, "weird, that's never happened before..." Then I start up the car later that nite to run some errands and the light is no longer on anymore...

So what happened? Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Check to see if there are any codes stored. Go to a auto parts store and borrow their OBDII scanner and get the codes.

check to make sure all the lines to the SAI are connected, there are a lot, easy to leave one off when replacing. depending on how much they did on the intake they may have pulled some lines.

So I was sitting in traffic coming back home tonite and heard the SAI flare up again for a few seconds. Called the dealer and am bringing the truck back in on Wed. May as well have them fix it if they broke it...
