Before I ask this question, I would like to offer my apologies for asking such a non-manly, worthless question. I wish the DWeb gods smile upon me, that my travels be not road-bound. Yea verily may they be wet and sloppy.

And I have donated...

So now that's over with: Has anyone upgraded to a later DVD? There is lots of contruction here and I've been thinking about upgrading.

Yes, many people have, but if you currently are used to the navigation hack to allow in-motion control access, you will lose that feature with the new DVD.

How do you enter the hack?

The hack works on 05/06 LR3s (as well as 05/06 FFRR and 06 RRS) with original navigation DVDs. Land Rover disabled that back door in North America on 07s and later models.

I have been running the hacked version of the new DVDs (where you make your own discs on the computer) and it's worked great.

i have 2 nav DVD's avail that i used on my 2005 lr3. 2004 denso original that came with vehicle when new and an updated 2006 dvd copy with the hack built in. let me know if interested.
