I made the trip to Pittsboro yesturday to see if Blackwoods had the Filson duffle I wanted in stock-catalog is on backorder and everywhere else was sold out. Not only did htey have but it was 20% off! The sale is 20% off all Filson (except footwear) and 25% off Barbour clothes and outerwear. This stuff never goes on sale so I was pretty happy. Great service to boot. If you've never been it's right on 15-501 north of Pittsboro just after the bridge over the Eno river. Allen and Sons BBQ is right beside the store.

No connection other than a happy customer.

Pittsboro is where I got my GSD puppy a few years ago...never knew there was an outfitter there....shame, I live a bit farther away now.

if you guys are brave enough for after christmas sales, then yall need to come to kinston to the nuese sport shop. basically the whole store is 50% off...thats north face, patagonia, mtn hardwear, carhartt, columbia, i forgot they are loaded with hunting and fishing gear as well...they open at 6 but i usually get there 445 or so bc theres always a crowd.

Damn-40%! I did call Hills-they were sold out of the duffles which is why I didn't go by there.

call me crazy, im hoping to get there sometime around 5am...probably be standing in the dang cold snow:banghead: but at least we will get to play in it afterwards

speaking of the d1, no the day i decided to call the guy, the ad was taken off and i didnt write down the guys number beforehand, so it wasnt meant to be i guess
