Does anyone live in NC and have to deal with viehicle inspections? I have a 98' D1 that I will be bringing up to Greensboro/ Riedsville area and I have about every light on the dash lit up! The service Engine light was on and the relay under the dash was removed so I don't know if that will pass emissions. The service engine light was on and it was a hose on the engine so it was reset and has not shown back up. Also, the ABS light is on and I had it looked at and they pushed the sensors back down but the light wouldn't reset (possibly a bad sensor). I feel like I will go broke trying to get it to pass! How do you beat the system?

The inspector is required to check the illumination of the "MIL" lamp on about the first line of the sheet. If it's not on when the key is in the acc positon (ie: bulb removed) before startup it's a failure point. I think G-boro has the same testing criteria as Charlotte, if so you're screwed. I think the abs light is no problem, they just care about the emmissions stuff
