I have a 2002 Disco 2 with 100k miles.I have only had it a couple weeks.Engine runs smooth no overheating noises or loss of oil or coolant. I am getting P1590,P1172,P1175,P0174 and P0171 codes but truck still seems to run okay.If I clear them they come back after about 2 days of driving. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a couple issues. Brakes and Air/Fuel.

So how's your brakes pads look? Is your air filter old? Check for intake leaks?

_____________
ref:
P1590 = Rough Road/ABS fault only indicating the the 3 Amigos are on or come on go. Fix you brakes and then you can clear the code.
P1172 = Oxygen Sensor System Too Rich Fault Banks A & B
P1175 = Lambda control adoption fault bank 2.Last occurrence - minimum signal
P0174 = Lambda control adaption fault bank 2 lean. Last occurrence - maximum signal
P0171 = Oxygen Sensor System Too Lean Fault Banks A & B

X3 MAF. Had P1172 and other codes I can't remember, changed the MAF, good ever since! Call Will Tillery!
I had the same codes I think and it ended up being MAF. I am sure the search here will reveal this, but since you say you owned the truck for a couple of weeks, CRC'c MAF Sensor Cleaner spray in a can, from Autoparts for $7 did the trick. I could not unscrew the actual sensor out, as one of the two torx screws corroded so badly, and I was lazy to dremel it out, so I just removed the tube where it sits, without even unplugging the wires going to it. I sprayed it with the straw attached to the can, very generously, gave it about 10 good once overs, aiming at the sensor from any direction I could think of, took about 15 - 20 minutes, some 5 minutes to dry (I put a rag to collect the liquid). Anyway, put the tube section back in, drove about 40 miles I think when the codes/yellow SES light vanished. My truck took its sweet time to clear the codes by itself, I was getting ready to spend on a new sensor when it happened. Hope this helps!

P1590 is a rough road implusible code from the SLABS module. To get rid of that you must clear your abs fault.
