I have a water leak that is difficult to locate. Originally I had a leak along the seam of the cowl, below the plastic plenum. I found it , sealed it, and although it made an improvement, there is still water coming in. Next I removed both front fenders to check the body seam that runs vertically from the top of the dash to the kick panel. That seam was cracked and water was entering into it. I sealed both seams, again alittle improvement, but still a problem. Upon closer inspection I have found that water is entering from 3 locations. During a heavy rain, water is finding it's way into the blower air intake. The water is getting under the rubber seal on top of the plastic plenum and dripping into the air intake. I can fix that, I think. The other 2 locations are the problem. Water is getting into the door pillars, the part the front door hinges attach to. I have had the fenders off, so I know I cannot access the pillars from there. Does anyone know how water is getting into these pillars?? Windshield maybe? Is there a drain other than the large holes on either end of the front cowl that I'm missing? Any advice would be helpful.
I have a 1994 Discovery, no sunroofs.

I think your windshield guess may be possible. Is this a DI or DII? If it's a DII, you can remove the A pillar coverings (4 plastic trim screws and then it pops off) and see if there's anything there. If it's a DI, I don't know how you'd go about it.
