Greetings,

- Replaced a dying battery with a Duralast gold top. Drove to work. +10hrs. Attempted to come home.
- Key in ignition - all looks fine on dash, interior lights, etc.
- Turn key to start - click from engine compartment, and 100% black, as if no battery in vehicle.
- Key out, back, same thing, live, then dead on turn key.
- Standing back calling wife to pick me up, 30 feet away from the vehicle, and Bam! its all back to life again with headlights on full and all dash on. I jumped in and started the car normally at that point. Seems ok since then, though I've only driven it a couple of times.

Is this a bad battery connection or a bad battery, or is there something else I should look at? The connection on the battery itself I could see were tight, as was the main fuse.

Many thanks for any help,
Dean

On my truck I had something similar, turned out to be a bad ground / neg connector on the battery lead. I replaced the connectors and have been trouble free since.
