Installed this weekend. Power is very noticeable. Haven't been able to get into it yet due to the break in process. Did with a friend in front of my house engine still in the vehicle. More info to come once I get it on road. I am having the front driveshaft rebuilt so once it's installed I'll post a video or something. Not a leak to be found.

I just got a cam from Mark and it wasn't re-branded. It came in a Crower box.
I like it, you can really feel it at certain points in the acceleration curve. The truck just starts to pull. I did a complete build on my engine. Old one had low oil pressure and a rod knock. I also used 4.0 pistons.

I couldn't tell if he was serious or not. Some of the guys seem to be jerks. Anyway, Mark gives them the specs and crower builds them based off a similiar cam from what I understand. I am barely giving it any pedal and it takes off. Much more torque and hp.

I was serious. So its not a 229 or 230 that jegs and summit or even crower direct sell for much cheaper than d&d? my understanding is that that is all d&d sells, so Ive wondered why anyone would ever buy from them

please post the specs if you got them

I always thought Crower is the manufacture and D&D, v8turner, or any others are just dealers and sell those cams.

or this one is specifically build by Crower, based on Mark's Spec, which is different from 229 or 230.

For one thing, I could get all me rebuild parts from one place.
For another you have Mark's expertise at your disposal.
I just looked at my invoice from D&D. I paid $575 for the cam, lifters and timing set.
That seems to be right in line considering Crower wants $275.90 for a 53229 and Summit is only about $25 cheaper.

Just talked to Mark. He is going to rebuild my driveshaft as well. So just wanted to clear the air about his cams. Crower builds his cams to HIS specs. It is not the same as a 52229 or 52230 Crower. He is a great guy who will help you with whatever you need if he can.
