I noticed atlantic british stocks engines new and rebuilt so they say. Where are they getting them?

I'm just a little bummed, sense Fall Heritage I have a new knock that sounds a little like piston slap. Pretty much only audible at idle but I was disturbed by its suddenly showing up the day after the event. Could be a piston skirt maybe? At least it hasn't gotten any worse in the last three trips to NY, PA and NJ from NH, lots of miles no change. Engine has always had lifter tic, plus now it seems to have the disappearing coolant issue. I'm going to closely monitor it from now on but if it really starts eating coolant I think the first thing I will do is pull the pan and take a look at the bottom end. You all have me just a little bit paranoid.
I upgraded to AAA plus with that 100 mile free tow.
