New rack lights now no front windows?

Just when it seemed like an easy job...

I wired up some old school roof lights to my 95 D1, everything by the book with correct splices, shrink-wrap, relay, fuse, and good wire. They are running off the rear washer switch since it never seemed to work. I button everything up after a test light, and I'm good to go. Finally a completed project with no unexpected problems. Neat and clean.

Until I go to put down my front windows. Rears are good, but no action on the fronts. Honestly, I have no idea what happened unless I bumped something behind the fuse box.

I'm looking for suggestions on what I may have done or what may have gone wrong, so here's what I've checked:

1. All the connections from fuse box to switch check out with power and ground where necessary. All the fuses are good.
2. Window ECU is good (did the solder fix a while back) but I pulled it to check all the pins. I have continuity across all the points needed.
3. Switches have power and ground. Swapping a rear switch didn't work on the fronts, but the front switch operated the rear window when swapped, so the switches are good.
4. I tried to pull the MFU, but I couldn't quite get the fuse box out enough. So far as I could tell, nothing looked or smelled bad.
5. I've checked all the wiring diagrams I can find and the RAVE electrical trouble shooting guide.

Once again, I'm stumped by the seeming nonsensical nature of Lucas Electronics. I must have done something, but what?

Thanks in advance for the help.
