So Alyssa, how does one go about becoming a bad ass LR Master Sales Guide???
Well, I've been successful because I am completely honest with people, I actually know my product, I believe in my product, I get along with my clients, I keep my word, I always try to do the right thing, I really listen to people, I follow up when I say I will, and I'm very, very particular. I make sure everything is done before the client even knows something needs to be done. I make sure things are meticulously clean, and if they aren't I clean it. I think about possible problems, and come up with solutions ahead of time, so if the problem arises, I already have an answer. If a customer has a problem after the sale, I'm there to help. I actually care about my customers and their lives. I try to understand what a client really wants, and how a Land Rover would help their life or address their needs. I'm not pushy, and I only talk about Land Rovers as much as the client directs me to. With some customers, I hardly ever talk about the car. We talk about real estate, traveling, yoga, shopping, other things. I'm always pro-actively reassessing my current customer's finance/lease situation to see if a new program could suit them better, maybe saving them money & getting them into a newer car. I've managed to gain such a loyal customer base that I rarely talk to new walk in customers. I'm so busy with my own customers, or referrals from my customers, that I don't have time for much else. Basically, I'm not an idiot, and I actually DO my job.
I'm a Master's Guild member because I had a combination of the highest sales and customer satisfaction, high test scores, years in position, training experience, recommendation from my market manager, and I had one of the highest scores in the Master's Guild Competition (which was REALLY tough!).
