Unfortunately, due to the incredible amount of red tape involved in getting the Disco exported from the US and imported to Canada, i ended up selling it to my neighbor when we moved to Canada 3 years ago. Not a happy decision, but it was just too much involved in bringing it here, and the clincher was that Canada, just like the US, does not allow import of modified vehicles.

The upside is that there are many Defenders and ex military Land Rovers available here, and once we buy a house again and get out of the apartment we are in now, we'll see what happens.

For now, I decided to get an item of my bucket list, get a motorcycle license (the instructors spoke mostly french, so that was interesting), and pick up a bike. It's a 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan S, and I am having a blast cruising the countryside north of Montreal with friends.

The picture of me without a helmet is of course just a parking lot poser picture, I never ride on the road without a helmet and other protection. As a matter of fact, they suspend your license if you get caught riding without a helmet in Quebec.

Damn. You buy a bike and immediately start hanging out with Sting and Rufio?

I wish I was a bike guy, but I'm not. I do think they look cool as fuck, though. Congratulations! :applause:

Posing or not, you look like a bad motherfucker up there.

Cheers,

Kennith

Loved my bikes in the past but would love to get a dual sport or another HD down the road; latter is just because they are loud, scare little kids and with the right headers and mufflers set off car alarms... Good looking bike btw.

You know, i didn't think I was a bike guy either - until I tried it. I always thought bikes were cool, though - and when one of my friends here got a new bike, I sat on it to check it out. That made me decide to take a driving class and get a bike license just to see if I really liked it, and the rest is history...
