Hi guys,
A while back we did the massive aftermarket bumper thread....Again thanks to all. I decided on the RTE, with 2" lift for the body lift. Anyway, while at a show a couple of weeks ago, picked up the mile marker SE9500C for $450.00 Not a bad deal so I took it. The truck just got the Detroit rear (ARB is toasted), so its home now and I threw the winch on.
Took some snipping of the grill, and then I painted the entire lower section black, to mask the chopping, and make it look more bad ass.

So here is the front end, completed with RTE and Mile Marker winch. It got some use as well, towing my other D1 onto a flatbed heading for parting out.

Enjoy and thanks to all for the input.
Ed

OH, FWIW, the RTE bumper was ordered for the Warn winch, but the Mile Marker fits perfectly....they set their sizes from Warn's sizes.
I know there are others of different bolt patterns so watch that when ordering.

Ahh, it is....the passenger is the spare. They were both worn the same, but at the shop they caught the passenger side on the lift and split it. So the spare went on the pass side, and I need 3 new ones. Its that time, just the 800 bucks is missing right now. The spare had not been rotated in by the PO, so I left it new, now I only need 3 tires and one of the rears will go as the spare.

hey how do you like them yokohamas? I was thinking of buying a set of 285's but was kind of thinking that 17/32 lugs are kind of small..

They work fine for me, this is my DD, so it sees alot of road time and trail time.

I like them alot, although don't have too much for comparison. Out here in Socal they work great as the profile is flat, and its dry and sandy. So they give great traction in sand. I have never been stuck at Pismo Beach, unless you count the time I was towing someone else out, and dug myself in up to the frame!! The only other time I have needed a tow was in mud so deep water filled the cabin. I do drive it like it should be driven.

so you are saying they suck on mud? damn... every tire I like is either no more into production, not avail in USA or don't work well in mud.. and everything here in florida is mud...

damn luck I tell ya... I'm going to end up with SS... DAMN!

thanks,

S.

I don't really know, they seemed fine in regular mud, just I was sitting on my frame in waist deep soup.
I have some pics somewhere...

I think it's just camera trickery. It does look like his axle housing went jello and someone can't get the toe right.

The car tracks straight as an arrow, its the cheapo camera phone shots and the light that make it all funky. Sorry, no newfangled digikal camera for me! I'd rather spend $$ on more car parts.

Im running a set of 285 yoko's and I love them. They dug like crazy at MAR and did great this weekend at U.R.E. I spun the shit out of them in the mud and on the rocks and they hardly show any cuts. Seem pretty quiet for on the road too.

It couldn't be a result of the avatar.

Flight time like that and many others (maybe I need a pilots licence), have been costing me in Hubs and bearings. Good thing I keep spares around these days!!
Time to upgrade to something that can handle it - cause the drivers not changing his style.
